初中生态主题英语演讲稿 I am a tree

I am a tree seed. I live in a beautiful forest. In winter, I sleep in the earth. I hear the singing from leaves as the wind blows them. I see snow dancing well. I lose myself in the nice environment around me.

One day, I was awake by a strong thunder. When I opened my eyes . I saw there was plenty of green. “It’s spring. Spring comes!” I shouted happily.

Time flies, I grow up fast. Now, I am a big tree. I find my waist become thicker, my leaves become more and more. I feel every day is nice. But the good life can’t last longer.

Once, I heard an amazing sound .Then , a bird flew to me in a hurry, “Humans……humans are cutting trees ,the grandpa tree has already……”Hearing that , I had no feeling. Howat obnoxious human-beings are!

Suddenly , I felt as if my waist was cut in two, then I fell down deeply. when I exerted myself to open my eyes , I only saw myself . The birds flew away , the sky wasn’t blue . Then , I was taken into a truck by humans . I didn’t know where to go . I turned back to see my hometown, but I just saw the dreariness and the disorder . I cried, I didn’t know it was for myself or for human-beings .

Then , I was taken into a wood factory . There , I felt pain every day . Many kinds of knives were inserted into my body . What was worse , I saw the factory pour dirty water into the river directly. I almost heard the fish crying . I felt sad more deeply . “Why do people do harm to every substance in nature?”

At last , I left the factory for a school as a desk .There , I met many friends, but we were all not happy .

Deep in the night , I heard a cry . It was a desk behind me . “Why are you crying?” I asked him. He answered: “My owner takes knives to cut me every day.” Hearing that, I cried again.

Humans , how do you regard us ? We are friends , aren’t we ?!

I think I will pray not only for the green , but also for human-beings in paradise.

Now, the tree’s story has finished. But the human problems haven’t been solved. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss  and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. It’s probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind.

So let’s protect the trees, protect the animals. Do our best to make this earth a better place to live in, not only for ourselves, but also for future generations.
